Right now, we've only made the chevre - but I'd love to make all types - I think it'd be tastier, better for us and more cost effective (especially when we get the milk for free...thanks to Mabel). Sorry I've been a little MIA lately - will get a blog out soon...Fresh Eggs Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16718985258467172827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2849427743103205586.post-69887230031612195942013-06-05T21:34:44.417-07:002013-06-05T21:34:44.417-07:00Bugger, I didn't do that. It will save you from botulism and the oil will stay clear.

Gav xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08995214671079288985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2849427743103205586.post-17386237714112229602013-06-05T21:10:15.687-07:002013-06-05T21:10:15.687-07:00I couldn’t pick up my photo from my phone but wan...I couldn’t pick up my photo from my phone but wanted to put one on to show what I had done. I get so frustrated with my lack of tech knowledge. I also had one of the vanilla pods in vodka and I could see it on phone but it wouldn’t go onto my pc. I hope you don’t mind using the image from google, I didn't know it was yours or I would have credited you. As soon as I work this problem out, ill put mine on instead and update.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12605358521258969537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2849427743103205586.post-11505756824120799332013-06-05T20:58:46.164-07:002013-06-05T20:58:46.164-07:00Nice cheese Lynda. This was just an intro so that those thinking of making cheese wont be scared off thinking its too hard. Gosh, im going to have to do an update and correct some grammar issues. I must have been tired. So much to learn hey! Cheese making is next on my list after I have a crack at making soap at home. Once I have a nice big lot of soap curing I shall be trying cheese making. I have a course in about 3 weeks. Then I want to learn about bee keeping (our FFG will have lots of pretties planted too for the bees). And I have the grafting demonstration at WPHO coming up. And and and...! :D
Did I already say, great posts by the way. Seriously great. Kudos on this wonderful recipe and I am going to have a go at making Steve's favourite cheese. It is getting quite expensive to buy and it would be another notch on my belt to make it from scratch. I am going to pin this recipe. I know that Jessie already did but the more people that find your wonderful website the better :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
